Title: Field Drive Tester  (Contractor)

 

Responsibilities:  Responsible for remotely Calibrating, Verifying, Drive Testing, and working with a team to bring each cell site online for the emergency E911 system.  Tasks included driving to multiple coordinates to make cell phone calls to calibrate the cell sites and the GPS satellites.  Then, the second round of testing was driving to different coordinates to verify the calibration testing.  Then, there was remote testing with the cells and activation groups and the local emergency groups like the county police or city police stations to verify that the live test calls gave the right coordinates of the cell phones.
